This qualification will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge to work within the field of work health and safety as a manager. You will analyse, design and execute judgements using technical, creative, conceptual or managerial competencies. Your knowledge base may be specialised or broad within the occupational health and safety field. You will further develop skills through the development of a systematic approach to managing WHS. You will analyse WHS information/data reporting and recording processes, develop and implement crisis management processes and evaluate an organisation's WHS performance.

This qualification is suitable for people who apply advanced practical knowledge to coordinate, facilitate and maintain the work health and safety (WHS) program in one or more fields of work in an organisation, such as a WHS practitioner or HR practitioner. They may work under the guidance of an occupational health and safety professional.
