Throughout this course, you will learn how to:
- Comply with Work, Health and Safety laws and regulations to support workplace requirements
- Collect and analyse workplace safety data such as incident reports
- Identify hazards and assess risks on domestic and commercial building sites, and establish appropriate control measures for these hazards
- Consult with management, subcontractors and workers on health and safety concerns
- Participate in the effective communication of health and safety information, techniques and procedures to other team members
- Contribute to team innovation when addressing health and safety issues in the workplace
- Provide support to health and safety specialists in resolving health and safety issues
- Research alternative pathways when seeking expert advice on health and safety issues
