WORK SAFELY AT HEIGHTS

Do you work in the building and construction industry? Are you based at the mines and work in the resource sector?

On completion of this course you will have knowledge in:
• OS&H Law in Australia & Western Australia, legislation and Australian Standards relating to working at heights;

TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT TC

This course covers the competency required to implement traffic management plans in the civil construction industry. It includes: planning and preparing, setting out, monitoring and closing down the traffic guidance scheme, and cleaning up.

When enrolling all participants are required to present:
• Proof of identification
• Drivers Licence or proof you have had a drivers licence for at least 12 months in the past five years
• Proof of safety in the construction industry training – White Card

TAG AND TEST ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES

When meeting compliance and ensuring the safety of your staff and work site this course will allow you the flexibility to test and tag from within your organisation at a time that suits you. Only a competent person must undertake the testing and tagging of electrical equipment- through correct training, qualification and experience. Participants will be trained in what to look for, look at and do to confidently perform testing and tagging through this course.

RIGGING BASIC

This course is based on the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work and is accredited by WorkSafe WA. Students will learn the skills you need to perform steel erections, hoists, placement of pre-cast concrete tilt panels, safety nets and static lines, perimeter safety nets and cantilever crane loading platforms.
 On completion you receive a statement of attainment and will be sent a WorkSafe WA permit.

NIGHT WELDING IN MIG, STICK & TIG

FORKLIFT

This short course will give you the skills to safely operate a forklift. On successful completion you will receive a forklift Notice of Assessment (N.O.A) and a Work Safe High Risk Work Licence.

When enrolling participants are required to:
• Be aged 18 or over
• Provide two passport photos
• Provide two primary proofs of identification, such as a driver’s license and Medicare card

EXCAVATOR

The course designed to instruct the excavator operator in the fundamentals of excavator operation to a productive, efficient standard. It is based on the National Core Curriculum and demonstrates how, through regular inspection and maintenance; an operator can ensure that the machine is in a sound, safe mechanical condition prior to operating.

ELEVATED WORK PLATFORM

Learn everything you need to qualify for a licence to operate a boom-type elevating work platform (boom length 11 metres or more). Operate a telescoping device, hinged device, articulated device, or any combination of these to support a platform on which people, equipment or materials can be elevated to perform work. This nationally-recognised course is accredited by WorkSafe WA. On completion you receive a statement of attainment and will be sent a WorkSafe WA permit.
