Skill sets and short course calendars

We offer a vast range of skill sets and short courses to help you upskill in the workplace, improve your job prospects, or simply learn a new skill.

Skill sets and short courses are offered at each of our campuses at various times throughout the year, and can be customised to suit individual, community or workplace needs.

For a complete list of current skill sets and short courses available at your local campus, download the relevant calendar below.

Want to explore individual courses? Simply use the filters in the course list at the bottom of this page. If you cannot find what you are looking for, please contact us to discuss customised training.

Skill sets are made up of one or more units of competency, link directly to an industry need or regulatory requirement, and result in a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment. Some skill sets also count towards a higher qualification, should you wish to undertake further study at a later date.

Short courses provide hands-on training in a new skill you can use in your personal or professional life, and are a great way to refresh your knowledge or give you a taste of a different industry. Short courses are non-accredited and result in a Certificate of Participation.
