This entry-level course has been developed for year 11 and 12 high school students to provide a taster into a trades or workshop-related career.
While undertaking this course, you will be exposed to a trades or workshop-related working environment, where you will learn practical skills in safe operations, communication, planning and organisation, general maintenance and a range of trade-related duties. This course can be customised to provide knowledge in sustaining employment, building self-esteem, and improving literacy, numeracy and digital technology skills.
This course acts as a suitable bridging course into a traineeship or apprenticeship.
