Your health and safety is important to us.

Spaces are limited in face-to-face classes to adhere to social distancing guidelines. Additional hygiene protocols will be implemented and other controls may apply. Students must follow the directions of the lecturer to ensure the health and safety of all students and teaching staff.

The appropriate and safe use of a chainsaw is a specialist skill that requires specialist training.

Get the job done quickly and safely with this skill set!

 

You will learn how to:

• Safely operate and maintain a handheld chainsaw

• Trim and cut felled trees with a chainsaw and complete operator maintenance

• Recognise and report hazards

• Participate in arrangements for maintaining work health and safety
