The Boom-Spray Licence Skill Set is a 5 day course which covers a combination of face to face training and practical assessment. The Boom-Spray Licence is an important Skill Set to obtain for those who need to meet Health Department requirements for a Pest Management Technician licence (Endorsement 7) if you are spraying chemicals for commercial gain.

During this 5 day course, you must complete the units in this skill set if you plan to use mechanical equipment such as boom spraying, quad-bike mounted equipment, broad acre spraying equipment or air blast equipment.

Please note: this course does not cover the first three units of Endorsement 7, students will need to complete the IAA09 Chemical Handling course to obtain these units.

  • Steel capped impervious boots
  • Long sleeved shirt
  • Long pants
  • Washable hat
  • Lunch and water
  • Optional change of clothes
