The Coxswain Navigation Skill Set is an intensive and hands-on three-day course that forms part of the mandatory requirement of the Certificate II in Maritime Operations (Coxswain Grade 1 near Coastal) qualification.

- Develop and undertake a passage plan for your vessel in recognition of weather and tides
- Interpret navigational charts and navigational hazards
- Safely and accurately plot your position using a range of different navigation equipment
