The Diploma of Hospitality Management has been designed for those already working in the hospitality industry, who are ready to step into a management role.
This qualification covers a range of managerial skills including:
- Rostering
- Budgeting
- Marketing
- People management
Participants will graduate with the skills to work as a bar, restaurant, gaming, kitchen or motel manager. There are also elective streams in this course including food and beverage, front of house and small business management, which allows participants to focus their study towards an employment outcome of choice.

This course is part of the Skills Ready initiative, allowing you to pay just half of the standard course fees for training from now until 2025! In addition, eligible students will have their course fees capped at just $400 per year. Please note that additional resource, material and/or equipment costs may apply. This course requires a mandatory work placement with an employer or participation in a 'live works' training area of the college. Prior to work placement with an employer or participating in a live works training area, you will need to be fully vaccinated, or you may not be able to successfully complete the course.
