Ensure the health and safety of your colleagues in the workplace.
The Diploma of Work Health and Safety is suitable for people who coordinate and maintain an Work Health and Safety (WHS) program in an organisation. It reflects the role of practitioners who apply a substantial knowledge base and well-developed skills in a wide variety of WHS contexts.
This qualification is delivered in an online environment only. Two streams are available to study through and both are online.
- Stream 1: General competency based training
- Stream 2: WorkSafe WA Safety Line Institute program
Participants who undertake this course will gain skills in:
- Effective management of WHS consultation and participation processes
- Systematic management of WHS risks
- Developing, implementing and maintaining a WHS management systems
- Managing rehabilitation and return to work programs
- Managing and monitoring workplace emergency procedures and equipment
This course is available at other campus locations upon request.

- A selection of elective units designed to meet local industry demand for skills (different unit selections will attract different fees)
- The government rate for Australian Citizens over the age of 18, permanent visa holders, visa sub-class 309, 444, 820 or a 457 dependent visa
