Green Jobs - Weed Control and Plant Propagation Skill Set

Are you passionate about the environment and want to learn environmentally friendly practices? Green jobs contribute to preserving and restoring the environment and this skill set provides the skills and knowledge required to work on projects with conservation groups; in forestry or agriculture environments; and in nurseries and local councils.

Learn about effective ways to control weeds, while minimising environmental damage, as well as how to carry out a range of propagation tasks, and techniques to plant trees and shrubs in a range of environmental settings.

Free

If you're aged 15—24 years (not at school), receiving the JobSeeker or JobKeeper payment, receiving Youth Allowance, AUSTUDY or ABSTUDY or holding a pensioner concession card, Health Care Card or a Repatriation Health Benefits Card issued by the Department of Veterans' Affairs, or a dependent of persons who are inmates of a custodial institution, you are eligible to enrol for free!
