This one-day course equips participants with the principles of manual handling, involving the safe and efficient movement of both the person delivering and receiving manual handling.
The skill set is applied in a variety of community services settings. Participants will be trained in the use of manual handling and equipment and practice in a simulated environment using manual handling equipment and devices.
