This skill set forms part of the Certificate II in Aquaculture and is delivered as a series of night classes.
During this course participants will learn how to:
- Use basic monitoring equipment to test the water quality (temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, salinity, alkalinity and others) for cultured and held stock
- Check water quality parameters are within acceptable ranges
- Monitor the behaviour and health of cultured and held stock
- Monitor routine environmental conditions
