Always wanted to design your own website?

This course provides an introduction to website design, and covers HTML5 Basics, working with text, images, audio and video, web page enhancement and Cascading Style Sheets.

Participants will gain skills in the following areas:

HTML5 Basics

Tags, elements and attributes; HTML structure including HTML, head and body; HTML editor.

Working with text

Paragraph, line break and headings; text with CSS styles.

Working with images

Image basics; relative and absolute address; image hyperlink attribute.

Working with audio and video

Audio basics; relative and absolute address; video basics.

Web page enhancement

New elements.

Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)

CSS applying methods, basic CSS properties.

Students have access to North Regional TAFE's computer, however are welcome to bring along their own laptops if they wish.
