Where can I access job opportunities?

NR TAFE advertises all non-casual employment opportunities, with a tenure in excess of six month, on the WA Government Jobs Board. This site is your gateway to information about employment opportunities in the Government of Western Australia.

NR TAFE also has various casual teaching positions available throughout the Kimberley and Pilbara. If you are interested in sharing your talents by teaching the next generation, then this is for you! We are establishing an appointment pool for current vacancies that may arise in the future. Appointments will be made on a casual basis. Permanency is not available through this recruitment process. Marketing and Communications Officer - Broome

About the role: 

We are looking for a talented content writer to join our marketing and communications team. The suitable applicant will be responsible for undertaking a systematic project to rewriting the College's website content. The suitable application will also work with the team on additional marketing activities such as website and social media uploads, and flyer, artwork and eDM creation.

This position is a fixed term part-time (0.6) appointment.

 

Benefits: 

Salary: $71,896 - $77,717 pa
Allowances: District Allowance (subject to eligibility)

Facilities Coordinator - Broome

About the role: 

We are looking for a high-performing, experienced Facilities Coordinator who will proactively identify the Colleges building, grounds, fleet and equipment maintenance requirements by initiating appropriate remedial actions. The successful applicant will lead the Kimberley facilities team and will coordinate the College’s maintenance activities, daily facility operations including the management of contracts and the Kimberley vehicle fleet.

 

Benefits: 

Salary: $80,452 - $84,797 pa

Facilities Officer - Karratha

About the role: 

This position will be responsible for identifying and performing regular maintenance and repair services to College buildings, infrastructure and fixtures; carrying out preventative maintenance and assisting the Facilities Coordinator to complete work requests as required.

Aboriginal Education Support Officer x 2 (male and female) - Kununurra

About the role: 

This position will be responsible for providing support to Aboriginal students to commence, continue and complete training. The position connects NR TAFE to the training and employment needs of Aboriginal individuals, groups and communities.

Casual Disability Support Worker - Fitzroy Crossing

About the role: 

This position provides support to the students with disability who seek in class-assistance by providing neat, accurate notes, relaying information in ‘uncomplicated’ terms and assisting the student to achieve their learning outcomes by keeping them focussed on the information provided.

Salary: $40.36 per hour

  • Obtaining a satisfactory Department of Education National Police History Check clearance
  • Obtaining a Working with Children (WWC) check
  • Meeting citizenship/residency or visa requirements

In order to be considered for a permanent position, you must be an Australian citizen, Australian resident, or be a New Zealand citizen with unrestricted working rights. In order to be considered for a fixed-term contract position, you must be a temporary resident with a valid working visa.
