TAFE lecturer prepares inmates for success on the outside

Our lecturers are truly one of a kind and hard-working Horticulture Lecturer Kim Courtenay, is no exception.

Kim has been delivering horticulture training to inmates at the West Kimberley Regional Prison to help equip them with practical workplace skills. The training also aims to provide the inmates with ongoing satisfaction and inspiration that can be translated into key life skills on the outside.

"It's a nationally accredited course ... so it's something they can use on their resume and say, look I've got this course and I've achieved these skills.'"

Well done to Kim and all involved in the education program!
