We would like to extend a very warm welcome to our International Student, Kersti!
Kersti is from Estonia and has just commenced a Certificate III in Community Services at our Broome campus.
While she hasn’t decided on a career path just yet, Kersti hopes her studies will give her some direction.
A desire to help others spurred her interest in Community Services and she is looking forward to learning about how and where she can support others.
She is excited that International Students have the opportunity to study at North Regional TAFE and described how supportive the staff and students have been since commencing her studies.
The nature, colours and small-town charm are some of the things she loves most about Broome and the Kimberley region.
"I encourage people to study in a small town. I love studying here - it's homey, everything is so close by and there are no traffic jams" Kersti said.
We wish Kersti all the best for her studies and future career endeavours!
