MICROSOFT PROJECT INTRODUCTION

This course has been designed to provide participants with a thorough introduction into Microsoft Project. Participants will learn how to use the software to manage a wide range of projects.

This course includes:

  • An introduction into Microsoft Project
  • Identifying key concepts associated with project management
  • Entering tasks into a project file
  • Creating relationships between tasks in a project
  • Resource assignment calculations
  • Levelling over allocation of resources
  • Assigning material resources
  • Assigning and tracking costs
  • Applying constraints and deadlines
  • Tracking project progress

Entry Requirements
A general understanding of personal computers and the Windows operating
system.

You can enrol over the phone by calling 1300 996 573, or in-person at your nearest North Regional TAFE campus.
