TAE - LEARNER SKILLS WORKSHOP

This workshop is suitable for individuals who teach, train, assess and develop
resources as a vocational trainer or assessor.

This course covers:

  • The ability to identify and address Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skill requirements of the training and work environment
  • Utilising resources and strategies relevant to the needs of learners

This workshop is delivered in one day with self-paced study and learner LLN assessments to be completed outside of class.

The unit of competency covered in this workshop was an elective in the previous version of the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. in the current version, TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, it is a core unit.

In order to stay current with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015, this unit is required.
