TAE UNIT UPGRADE

North Regional TAFE offers gap training for those who already hold the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, however need to complete two additional units to meet the 2015 Quality Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). Choose to attend for the full three days to complete both units, or enrol in just one.

Workshop 1 (one day):

This workshop covers unit TAELLN411 Address adult language literacy and numeracy. It is delivered in a half-day with self-paced study and learner LLN assessments to be completed outside of class.

This unit of competency was an elective in the previous version of the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. In the current version, TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, it is a core unit. In order to stay current with the 2015 Quality Standards for RTOs, this unit is required.

Workshop 2 (two days):

This workshop covers TAEASS502 Design and develop assessment tools. It is delivered over two days with self-paced study and assessments to be completed outside of class.

This unit of competency was an elective in the previous version of the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. In the current version, TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, it is a core unit. In order to stay current with 2015 Quality Standards for RTOs, this unit is required.
