VEHICLE LOADING CRANE

This course specifies the outcomes required to operate a vehicle loading crane with a capacity of 10 meter tonnes or more, mounted on a vehicle for the principle purpose of loading and unloading such a vehicle, including the application of load estimation and slinging techniques to move a load, for licensing purposes.

This course covers planning, conducting routine checks, setting up the crane, transfer loads and the shutting down and securing of the crane. This course is based on the requirements of the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work.

TEST AND TAG SKILLSET

When meeting compliance and ensuring the safety of your staff and work site this course will allow you the flexibility to test and tag from within your organisation at a time that suits you. Only a competent person must undertake the testing and tagging of electrical equipment- through correct training, qualification and experience. RIGGING BASIC

This course is based on the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work and is accredited by WorkSafe WA. Students will learn the skills you need to perform steel erections, hoists, placement of pre-cast concrete tilt panels, safety nets and static lines, perimeter safety nets and cantilever crane loading platforms.
 On completion you receive a statement of attainment and will be sent a WorkSafe WA permit.

This short course will give you the skills to safely operate a forklift. On successful completion you will receive a forklift Notice of Assessment (N.O.A) and a Work Safe High Risk Work Licence.

When enrolling participants are required to:

ELEVATED WORK PLATFORM

Learn everything you need to qualify for a licence to operate a boom-type elevating work platform (boom length 11 metres or more). Operate a telescoping device, hinged device, articulated device, or any combination of these to support a platform on which people, equipment or materials can be elevated to perform work.
