The music industry is vibrant and constantly growing, with an ever-increasing strength of WA acts being heard at a national and international level.

The Diploma of Music Industry provides participants with the skills to break into the wider music industry. Students will gain the knowledge and support to extend their career outside of their hometown and gain state or national exposure. Participants will extend their industry knowledge, negotiate contracts, manage copyright arrangements, and build on their performance techniques and repertoire.

Are you passionate about cultural art?

The Certificate II in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Art will help students develop the basic art-making skills underpinning visual arts and craft practices.

Students will complete oral and written coursework and gain hands-on skills through independent and collaborative projects. Throughout the course, participants will work closely with the local Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander community to establish a reference group and use local cultural knowledge necessary to achieve some units of competency.

After successfully completing this qualification, participants could progress into a number of positions including Aboriginal visual arts worker, community arts centre trainee, community arts workshop trainee or ceramics studio trainee.

Are you passionate about cultural art?

The Certificate III in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Arts helps students gain the skills  to produce a range of art and craft works, and select, adapt and transfer those skills to many situations. Participants will be expected to work closely with the local Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander community, which will prepare them to communicate more broadly about the creative industries within the community.

This qualification prepares students for the higher level learning that supports professional art practices. Following completion, participants could work in a number of roles including Aboriginal visual arts worker, community arts centre assistant, community arts workshop assistant, ceramics studio assistant or emerging practicing artist.
