Area Warden

Area Warden (formally called Fire Warden) – Does not include any practical component on fire fighting or the use of fire fighting equipment.

Area warden looks at the structure of the Emergency Response team, various roles and responsibilities e.g, chief warden, area wardens, communications officer etc. It also covers some specific responsibilities of the area warden such as conducting evacuations, conducting area searches, communication methods, and muster points.

*Please note; Short Courses are non-accredited and result in a Certificate of Participation. A non-accredited training course does not count-towards a recognised qualification, but is specially designed to provide hands-on training in a new skill you can use in your personal or professional life, and is a great way to refresh your knowledge or give you a taste of a different industry.
