This Qualification prepares students to efficiently manage supply chain tasks, ensuring smooth operational flow while following industry best practices.
Students will learn to handle responsibilities in daily routines and procedures, ensuring work quality and contributing to overall productivity within the supply chain. The course covers essential skills, including effective communication, understanding workplace processes, teamwork, and problem-solving.
Upon completion, students will be equipped with industry-relevant skills, recognised by a nationally accredited Qualification. Students will be well-prepared to enter the logistics and supply chain sector. Recognition of Prior Learning is also available for eligible candidates, allowing experienced professionals to gain credit toward their Qualification.
The course is designed to combine theoretical and hands-on training, which can be delivered in the student’s current workplace or at one of our dedicated training facilities. Additionally, this program is available at other campus locations upon request.
Throughout this course, you will gain skills in:
- Identifying the roles and functions of the supply chain industry
- The principles of logistics to package goods, dispatch stock and receive goods
- Shifting materials safely using manual handling methods
- Storing and handling dangerous goods/hazardous substances
- Using product knowledge to complete work operations including processing of workplace documentation
- Packaging goods and deliver services to customers
- Ensuring the safety of transport activities follow work health and safety procedures
- Working and communicating in diverse workplaces
