Logistics is essential to the developing resources sector in North Western Australia.
Become a part of an essential industry that is rapidly growing to meet the demands of everchanging communities communities in the North Region of Western Australia. The Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations is suitable for those engaged in supply chain operations and includes specialisations for logistics and warehousing operations.
During this course, you will learn a defined range of skilled operations involving routines, methods and procedures, where some discretion and judgement is required in selecting equipment, services or contingency measures within known time constraints. It may also include responsibility for coordinating the work of others.
The training and assessment program will be negotiated with you to incorporate within your current workplace operations and schedules. If you do not currently work within the relevant industry, NRT Warehouse training room has an operational capacity where training and assessment may be facilitated.
During this course you will need to be prepared to stand for the majority of each day and have a basic level of computer skills.

Throughout this course, you will gain skills in:
- Shifting materials safely using manual handling methods
- Ensuring the safety of transport activities (Chain of Responsibility) including storage and handle dangerous goods and hazardous substances
- Identifying goods and store to specifications maintaining stock controls and receivals
- Organising receival and dispatch operations
- Loading and unloading goods/cargo using a forklift truck
- Effectively using communication systems
- Applying grievance resolution strategies
- You have a completed a Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations
- If you are currently working within the supply chain industry without the qualification
- You are seeking to upskill in your current career or looking for a career change
- You have an interest operations, procedures and coordinating a team

A pre-enrolment interview will be conducted with each student, to establish their individual level of skill and experience, and any additional support that may be required to ensure successful completion of the program.
This course is offered as a traineeship program, providing you with a structured face-to-face training. You will be required to complete 3 to 4 hours per week of structured prescribed reading and follow-up activities provided in the Learner Guide.
