Jump start your career in the automotive industry!
This qualification provides an introductory into the automotive retail, service and repair industries. It also acts as entry into further training in several sectors.
Throughout this course, participants will learn how to undertake a range of simple automotive tasks under close supervision.
This course is available at other campus locations upon request.
Students will gain skills in:
- Workplace safely fundamentals
- Use and maintain basic tools
- Basic automotive mechanicals systems and components
- Vehicles wheels and tyre assemblies
- Basic automotive electrical systems and components
- you are a trainee, including school-based trainees of Yr 10, 11, 12
NR TAFE will deliver this program of training over a period of 20 days per year with up to 140 hours of study.
