Develop your work and employability skills! 

This entry-level qualification allows you to develop basic career and employability skills relevant to a wide range of industries. Throughout this course, you will learn how to develop self-assessment skills to improve your personal learning and employment goals

Become actively involved in today’s digital world with confidence. Throughout this course, you will develop computer skills to: 

  • Create resumes and complete job applications 
  • Use basic software including the Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Touch type
  • Save and store documents and passwords securely
  • Organise files 
  • Navigate the internet 
  • Download applications safely 
  • Complete personal and work-based routine tasks 
  • Be safe online

This course involves 10 hours of face-to-face training per week, with approximately two hours of prescribed activities to complete research projects. 

Throughout this course, you will gain skills in:

  • Using business resources
  • Operating digital devices and using technology for workplace tasks 
  • Researching the internet and participating in job seeking activities 
  • Job readiness 
  • You seek to improve your language, literacy and numeracy skills through customised support
  • You want to become job-ready 
  • You are a client of an employment agency

This is an entry-level qualification and therefore there are no entrance requirements.
