The Certificate II in Salon Assistant is an entry-level qualification, providing participants with the skills to work as an assistant in a hair salon. Participants will develop foundation skills and knowledge required in hairdressing salons to provide client services assistance.
Training is focussed on the following areas:
- Shampooing

- Drying hair
- Scheduling appointments
- Sales
- Handling stock
- Communication skills
- OH&S practices
