This qualification will further develop your practical skills and knowledge to develop services and programs to meet identified needs within the community. You will learn skills in advanced communication, group work, training, community information provision and program development. You will also learn how to design and deliver programs that are accessible and enhance community participation. You will develop an understanding of the legal and ethical requirements for working in community services. As part of this qualification you will undertake a supervised work placement where you will be able to apply the skills and knowledge you have learned.
